This exhibition was born from a need to slow down, to listen, to remain.
Echoing the poem by Mary Oliver, trees teach us a simple and essential presence. They invite us to walk gently, to let ourselves be touched by light, to find refuge in the living silence of their foliage.
Through our travels, we have encountered trees of many shapes, rhythms, and energies. Distant forests, solitary trees, roots anchored in landscapes across the world. Through cyanotype, their silhouettes emerge in deep blues, revealing the delicacy of branches, the breathing of leaves, the memory of the living.
Among the Trees is an invitation to pause for a moment, to stand at the heart of the vegetal world, and to rediscover — through contemplation — an ancient sense of peace. A meeting with these silent presences that, each day, remind us how to be in the world.
